1、 Principle of UV disinfection
Ultraviolet light is a type of light that cannot be seen by the naked eye, and can be divided into UVB (315~400nm), UVB (280~315nm), and UVC (200~280nm) according to different wavelengths. UVC is most easily absorbed by DNA (ribonucleic acid), and UV disinfection systems use UVC.
Senwei UV sterilization equipment integrates comprehensive disciplines such as optics, microbiology, mechanics, chemistry, electronics, and fluid mechanics. The strong UV-C light generated by a specially designed high-efficiency, high-intensity, and long-life UV-C light generating device is used to irradiate flowing water. When bacteria, viruses, algae and other organisms in water are exposed to a certain dose of ultraviolet C light (wavelength 253.7nm), the DNA and RNA structures of their cells are destroyed, and cell regeneration cannot proceed, thus achieving the purpose of water disinfection and purification.
The 185nm spectral line generates ozone in the air, which can have bactericidal and deodorizing effects. The 185nm spectral line can also decompose organic molecules in water, generate hydrogen radicals, and ultimately oxidize organic molecules in water to carbon dioxide, achieving the goal of removing TOC.

Ultraviolet disinfection does not produce any secondary pollutants and belongs to the latest generation of disinfection technology internationally. It has gradually become a mainstream disinfection method in developed Western countries due to its high efficiency, broad-spectrum, low cost, long lifespan, large water volume, and pollution-free advantages that cannot be compared to other disinfection methods.
